In 2019, our founder, an MIT grad, faxed an Excel spreadsheet to file an insurance claim … and waited two months for a response.
His claim was rejected.
Coming from a technology background himself, he expected all companies were fully digital by then. What he found was that warranty companies were lagging: delayed responses, lack of clarity, and poor interfaces plagued the customer experience.
We believe that product protection plans are a good thing. They add tremendous value and peace of mind to our purchases.
So we decided to change things up, and disrupt the aging product protection plan industry by building a new kind of product protection company. A warranty business that would put you, the customer, and an improved experience, front and center.
